Michael
Behm,
Executive Director
Nebraska Commission on Law Enforcement and Criminal
Justice.
Michael Behm was
appointed by Governor Heineman in May 2005.
Behm served the State of Nebraska
as a State Trooper, retiring as Lt. Colonel in 2003. He was a
substitute
teacher with the Malcolm School District and an adjunct professor for
Bellevue
University,
prior to his appointment.
Behm holds a
Masters Degree in Management and a Bachelors
Degree in Criminal Justice and is a graduate of the FBI National Academy.
In addition, he
is a military veteran, serving in the United States Coast Guard during
the Viet
Nam War.
