Overview
The Crime
Commission
administers approximately $13 million annually in federal and state aid
programs in the areas of anti-drug abuse, violent crime, law
enforcement,
victim assistance, juvenile justice, delinquency prevention and
criminal
justice information systems. The Commission awards grant funds to
eligible programs that address priority issues and foster improvement
in
Nebraska's criminal and juvenile justice systems. Grant funded
projects
are monitored and evaluated with continuation funding based on each
program's
success in achieving its stated goals and objectives.
